Sea Hope Live

A branding concept for a benefit concert bringing awareness to endangered Sea Turtles. A culmination of design comps, mood board, wireframes, and preliminary sketches.

Theme

Sea Hope Live

A play on words - "live". This theme allows for those participating to know both causes for this concert

Target Audience

Targeted towards young adults aged 19-32 years old, Sea Hope Live is the theme for a fictional concert to benefit endangered Sea Turtles. These are people with good paying jobs, who believe in making a difference. They are animal lovers and are known to rally around environmental causes. They do not like to be boxed in and enjoy breaking the rules every now and then. At the core they feel everyone can play a positive role no matter how small.

Mood board

An overall view of the concert's look, feel, and sounds. Each picture and color choice adds to the story and translates the atmosphere and theme
This mood board was used to create the Sea Hope Live wireframe and website.

Logo Development

A sea turtle's shell represents protection and preservation. Without it, a sea turtle could not survive. It represents patterns, lifestyle, and habits.

Wireframe

Created to work out the websites' layout and functionality. Allowing for focus on the way the site would operate first, without being distracted by the design elements.

Motion Graphic Exploration

Expanding on the logo's original premise, the concert is about uniting for one cause. This is shown as the pieces make up the whole of the shell. It also highlights the idea of the concert, music, and working together.

Final Motion Graphic & Video Promo

A rough-cut video was designed to further promote the night as well as give an idea of how the event could be advertised via social media platforms. Video is a great way to convey a message quickly. It allows for ideas and values to not only be heard but seen. It is also a positive way to tell a story. This video is comprised of transitions, video editing, and sound.
